These instructions assume that you are running Windows 2000/XP and have installed Dreamweaver MX 2004 or later. For system requirements, please visit www.jsftoolbox.com .

The first step to getting started with JSFToolbox is to install the software using the Macromedia Extension Manager (see screenshot below). You can launch the Extension Manager from Start > Program Files > Macromedia menu. Then choose File > Install Extension and browse to the JSFToolbox extension file that you downloaded.

You will also need to have the Java 2 Platform Standard Edition 5.0 Runtime Environment installed for JSFToolbox to work properly. You can download a version of JSFToolbox that includes the necessary Java Runtime Environment (JRE) or you can download the JRE separately from Sun Microsystem's Java site at java.sun.com .

Once you have completed the installation procedure, you can launch Dreamweaver to start using JSFToolbox and JavaServer Faces technology.
