Dreamweaver's Component UI

Dreamweaver fully supports component-based Web development. The Dreamweaver user interface (UI) is made up of floating, dockable panels. You can arrange these however you like, and predefined "workspaces" are provided for different user types. For instance, a programmer might be more comfortable with the Coder workspace layout, while a designer might find the Designer workspace layout more natural to his or her style of work.

To change the workspace layout, choose Window > Workspace Layout. Dreamweaver stores your workspace preferences in your user configuration directory and will remember how you like to arrange your workspace the next time you use the application. The important panels for the purposes of component-based development using JavaServer Faces in Dreamweaver are the Insert Panel, the Application panel, the Properties panel, and the Reference panel.
