t:inputCalendar

The t:inputCalendar tag provides a calendar component which can be used to enter in calendar dates for a form.

Tag Attributes

accesskey	String

The accesskey attribute is a standard HTML attribute that sets the access key that transfers focus to this element when pressed.

addResources	String

The addResources attribute automatically adds input calendar CSS style sheets to the header.

align	String

The align attribute is a standard HTML attribute that specifies this element's horizontal alignment.

alt	String

The alt attribute is a standard HTML attribute that sets the alternate textual description rendered by this component.

binding	String

The value-binding expression linking this component tag to a backing bean property.

converter	String

The converter attribute sets the converter instance to be registered for this component. It must match the converter-id value of a converter element defined in your Faces configuration file.

currentDayCellClass	String

The currentDayCellClass attribute is the CSS style class applied to the td element for the current day.

dayCellClass	String

The dayCellClass attribute is the CSS style class applied to all days within the calendar.

dir	String

The dir attribute is a standard HTML attribute that overrides the default text directionality for this component. The values accepted for this component are "LTR" (left-to-right) and "RTL" (right-to-left).

disabled	String

The disabled attribute is a boolean flag that when set to true indicates that this component should not receive focus or be included in a form submit.

displayValueOnly	String

The displayValueOnly attribute expects a boolean value that, when set to true, causes a tag to render its value only, and not the associated UI component.

displayValueOnlyStyle	String

The displayValueOnlyStyle attribute defines the CSS style applied to the display value of this tag when the displayValueOnly attribute is set to true.

displayValueOnlyStyleClass	String

The displayValueOnlyStyleClass attribute defines the CSS class applied to the display value of this tag when the displayValueOnly attribute is set to true.

enabledOnUserRole	String

The enabledOnUserRole attribute determines if this component will be rendered normally or not depending on the user's roles.

forceId	String

The forceId attribute expects a boolean value, that when set to true, forces the tag to render its ID exactly as specified in the ID attribute. This allows you to apply CSS styles to the tag and to reference it in JavaScript by ID, which is typically not possible using the default JSF component ID naming system. This attribute is false by default.

forceIdIndex	String

The forceIdIndex attribute effects the component ID name when this component is rendered at runtime. It expects a boolean value that, when true, causes the component to display an index number in its ID value if the component is in a list. It has a default value of true.

helpText	String

The helpText attribute defines the text to be displayed to the user as a suggestion for how to input a value for this component.s

id	String

The unique identifier value for this component. The value must be unique within the closest naming container.

imageLocation	String

The imageLocation attribute specifies the location of images for this component.

immediate	String

The immediate attribute is a boolean flag indicating that component events should be sent to registered event listeners immediately rather than after the validation phase of the JSF request processing lifecycle. The immediate flag allows you bypass JSF validation for a particular component.

javascriptLocation	String

The javascriptLocation attribute defines the location of JavaScript files for this component.

lang	String

The lang attribute is a standard HTML attribute that sets the code describing the language to be used in the markup generated by this component.

maxlength	String

The maxlength attribute sets the maximum length in characters of the string accepted by this input component.

monthYearRowClass	String

The monthYearRowClass attribute is the CSS style class to be used for the month of the year.

onblur	String

The onblur attribute sets the JavaScript code to execute when this element loses focus.

onchange	String

The onchange attribute sets the JavaScript code to execute when this element loses focus and its value changes after gaining focus.

onclick	String

The onclick attribute sets the JavaScript code to execute when the mouse pointer is clicked over this element.

ondblclick	String

The ondblclick attribute sets the JavaScript code to execute when the mouse pointer is double-clicked over this element.

onfocus	String

The onfocus attribute sets the JavaScript code to execute when the element receives focus.

onkeydown	String

The onkeydown attribute sets the JavaScript code to execute when a key is pressed down over this element.

onkeypress	String

The onkeypress attribute sets the JavaScript code to execute when a key is pressed and released over this element.

onkeyup	String

The onkeyup attribute sets the JavaScript code to execute when a key is released over this element.

onmousedown	String

The onmousedown attribute sets the JavaScript code to execute when the mouse pointer is pressed down over this element.

onmousemove	String

The onmousemove attribute sets the JavaScript code to execute when the mouse pointer is moved within this element.

onmouseout	String

The onmouseout attribute sets the JavaScript code to execute when the mouse pointer is moved away from this element.

onmouseover	String

The onmouseover attribute sets the JavaScript code to execute when the mouse pointer is moved onto this element.

onmouseup	String

The onmouseup attribute sets the JavaScript code to execute when the mouse button is released over this element.

onselect	String

The onselect attribute sets the JavaScript code to execute when the user selects the text contained by this element.

popupButtonImageUrl	String

The popupButtonImageUrl attribute sets the location of the image to be used for the popup button. Note: the popup button image will appear instead of the button icon only if renderPopupButtonAsImage attribute is "true".

popupButtonString	String

The popupButtonString attribute defines the wording to appear in the popup button that appears if renderAsPopup is true.

popupButtonStyle	String

The popupButtonStyle attribute set a style to be applied to popUp button that appears if renderAsPopup is true.

popupButtonStyleClass	String

The popupButtonStyleClass attribute is the CSS style class applied to popUp button that appears if renderAsPopup is true.

popupDateFormat	String

The popupDateFormat attribute sets the date format to be used by the popup calendar.

popupGotoString	String

The popupGotoString attribute sets the wording that will appear in a hovering message when the cursor is over top the date in the bottom middle of the calendar.

popupLeft	String

The popupLeft attribute expects a boolean value that, when true, causes the calendar to be rendered on the left side of the input component, instead of the right. The default value is false.

popupScrollLeftMessage	String

The popupScrollLeftMessage attribute defines the tooltip and status bar text displayed when scrolling to the left.

popupScrollRightMessage	String

The popupScrollRightMessage attribute defines the tooltip and status bar text displayed when scrolling to the right.

popupSelectDateMessage	String

The popupSelectDateMessage attribute defines the tooltip and status bar text displayed when selecting a date.

popupSelectMonthMessage	String

The popupSelectMonthMessage attribute defines the tooltip and status bar text displayed when selecting a month.

popupSelectYearMessage	String

The popupSelectYearMessage attribute defines the tooltip and status bar text displayed when selecting a year.

popupTheme	String

The popupTheme attribute species the prefix for the theme used by this calendar.

popupTodayDateFormat	String

The popupTodayDateFormat attribute defines the date format for the current date string displayed at the bottom of the calendar.

popupTodayString	String

The popupTodayString attribute sets the wording in the bottom middle of the calendar where "Today is" is.

popupWeekString	String

The popupWeekString attribute sets the wording in the top left corner of the calendar where "wk" is.

readonly	String

The readonly attribute is a boolean flag that when set to true prohibits changes to this element by the user. The element will continue to receive focus unless you set the disabled attribute to true.

renderAsPopup	String

The renderAsPopup attribute renders the inputCalendar as a input text field next to a button. When the button is pushed, a pop up calendar will appear. If a date within the calendar is chosen, the text field will be populated with the date chosen.

renderPopupButtonAsImage	String

The renderPopupButtonAsImage attribute will render a default icon to be used instead of the popup button if set to true. Othewise the standard button will appear. Note: the popupButtonImageUrl attribute can set a different image to be used instead of the default calendar image.

rendered	String

A value-binding expression that evaluates to a Boolean condition indicating if this component should be rendered.

required	String

The required attribute is a boolean flag that indicates whether or not the user is required to provide a value for this field before the form can be submitted to the server.

size	String

The size attribute sets the width in characters of this input field.

style	String

The style attribute sets the CSS style definition to be applied to this component when it is rendered.

styleClass	String

The styleClass attribute sets the CSS class to apply to this component when it is rendered.

styleLocation	String

The styleLocation attribute defines the location of Cascading Style Sheets for this component.

tabindex	String

The tabindex attribute is a standard HTML attribute that sets the order in which this element receives focus when the user cycles through the elements using the TAB key. The value for this attribute must be an integer between 0 and 32767.

title	String

The title attribute is a standard HTML attribute that sets the tooltip text to display for the rendered component.

validator	String

The validator attribute accepts a method-binding expression representing a validator method that will be called when the JSF framework validates this component. A validator method must be a public method that takes FacesContext, UIComponent, and Object parameters, with a return type of void.

value	String

The value attribute sets the current value for this component.

valueChangeListener	String

The valueChangeListener attribute accepts a method-binding expression representing a value change listener method to be notified when a new value has been set for this input component. A value change listener method must be a public method that takes a ValueChangeEvent parameter, with a return type of void.

visibleOnUserRole	String

The visibleOnUserRole attribute determines if this component will be visible or not depending on the user's roles.

weekRowClass	String

The weekRowClass attribute is the CSS style class to be used for the days of the week row.
