Installing Trinidad Tools

The first step in getting started is installing Trinidad Tools for Dreamweaver. The extension can be installed in the standard way, using the Adobe Extension Manager.

Trinidad Tools Community Edition

The Community Edition is designed for stand-alone operation without JSFToolbox for Dreamweaver, and includes a number of useful features, such as:

  • Syntax auto-complete
  • Context-sensitive help
  • Drag-and-drop Trinidad tag toolbars
  • Trinidad tag chooser dialogs

Trinidad Tools Professional Edition

The Professional Edition contains all the functionality of the Community Edition, as well as:

  • Visual Trinidad tags
  • Trinidad component panel
  • Trinidad server behaviors
  • Property inspectors with data-bound controls
  • Dynamic JSF EL code hints
  • Live Data mode
  • and more
